Little Nugget
Pt. Reyes
Okay Jenn remember you asked.... Tom decided earlier in the week he wanted some oysters. We sent the dog to Camp 4 Paws. Called a B&B and headed to Pt. Reyes. Tomales Bay has some of the best oysters. Hog Island Oysters is one large company. We got there Saturday and took a short hike. Five miles from the Youth Hostel to the Ocean. It was beautiful. It was breezy since the storm had just moved on but it left some spectacular sights. The Farallon Islands are about 26 miles off shore and we could see them. We also saw what looked like oil rigs off shore. Turns out they were new cranes for the Port of Oakland. Today they made a big to do about them as they slipped under the GG Bridge and the Bay Bridge with 3 ft. to spare.
After the hike we went to Tony's and Tom had his bbq oysters and they were everything he had hoped for - fresh and delicious.
The next morning we got up, went to breakfast and headed out for another hike. Pt Tomales is a 4.5 mile hike (we learned this is "as the crow flies") with Pacific Ocean on one side and Tomales Bay on the other. Beautiful. Wildflowers are starting to bloom. Elk roam this area as it is their reserve.
We got back into town had the best pizza. It is amazing that after hiking everything tastes fantastic. We were picking up the dog an hour and half later and home in two half hours. If anybody wants to come do this we would definitely do it again!
Now for home movies.

Snow Weekend in Tahoe
(Be sure to vote for Laura's T-shirt on post below)
We got to go to Tahoe for a snow weekend this past weekend. Forecasters predicted a huge storm. Instead we got a winter wonderland. Jessica & Creed, Jamie & Shawn, Molly and Thomas all made the trip up. We had great plans for snow shoeing and ice skating - didn't quite happen. Thomas went snowboarding. Molly went cross country skiing. They also tried snow shoeing. Creed, Shawn and Jamie went pub crawling through Squaw Valley. We played Apples to Apples and real live Scrabble. Jamie, Shawn and I attempted to finish a puzzle (hopefully the next person up will help). Bear learned to wave and snap at snow flakes. Thanks Grammy Schneider for letting us use Tahoe! We really appreciated the get away.

T-Shirt Contest
Hi!
I have entered into a t-shirt design contest for an adult sports league in San Diego. These shirts will be worn by 1000s of people. It's a pretty dumb voting system - its based on shirt 'battles'- so you have to click through the shirts to get to mine- but it all really helps! It's really easy and a great timekiller. :)
Please vote for my designs (the ones by "Laura" - they are all on the same shirt shape) and AGAINST the other top designs!! I'm currently have 2 or 3 in the the top 5 but still need lots of votes to keep my spot and get first place!!
Thank you in advance so much for all of your help!! Voting ends March 15th!
