Let the celebrations begin! Miss Molly is headed to Hastings College of Law. Molly made her decision and come fall she will be leaving Google and hitting the books again. So if any fellow Alums have any pointers I am sure she is all ears.

1 year down, a lifetime to go!

Creed & I celebrated our 1 year anniversary by heading to Shell Beach this past weekend to visit some friends and we took Freddie with us for his first beach experience. The weather was absolutely amazing, 70ish with a nice sea breeze. We took the dogs to a beach in Avila and let them run loose in the mornings. Freddie may have thought we took him to dog heaven! He chased the ball right into the small waves and had a great time splashing around with his new girlfriend Bailey (our friends yellow lab). Us humans decided to treat ourselves to a really yummy bloody mary at Rick's (ok so minus the vodka, I still enjoyed mine!)Overall just a really nice weekend with friends and puppies to start off year #2! We also got a great anniversary gift from our friends Kristen & Jeremiah (the best man and Creed's brother from another mother) we got a new little "nephew" named Grant! They finally got a boy after 2 girls (2 of our flower girls)!!

Weekend warriors

Maybe not warriors but definitely hikers. Jamison and I made the quick trek to Yosemite Sunday while admittance was free (something about national parks day) and enjoyed glorious weather and spectacular views.

The major sites were closed so no Glacier Point, Mariposa grove or Half Dome but we still had a great time hiking behind the Awhanee and visiting Yosemite Valley.

Taylor Swift Concert!

My friend Chloe and i went to the Taylor Swift concert last night at the staples center, and it was AMAZING! We had amazing seats in the 13th row! And i even got to touch T-Swifty's shoulder and hand when she walked by! We also got on the jumbo Tron! It was So much fun, and i can't wait to again when she goes on tour next year!

Greenville/Masters

This was an amazing experience I will never forget. I was joking with Shawn telling him, if I didn't know better I would think its easy to par and the difficult part is to go under par. They make it look so easy. I love the tradition of doing all the scoreboards by hand, the excitement when they change a name is great. Im ready to play golf. Masters

The Masters 2010

Jamie, Thomas and I (Tom) headed out Monday morning for a week of "work" to Charlotte, N.C. After landing we drove 100 miles to Greenville, S.C. We celebrated Thomas 25th birthday southern style. Tuesday, first stop was to see Safety Components which supplies many of our woven cloths. Temp. 80 degrees at 8 p.m. We ate plenty of fried green tomatoes, shrimp and local food of the south.
Wednesday headed to Augusta, S.C. for a plant tour of Southern Felt. Southern Felt supplies 99% of our felted goods. These tours allowed Jamie to become even more familiar with the filter bags she sells. After the tour we went to Augusta, Georgia (20 miles across the river) to see the practice round of The Masters. Cameras are allowed only during the practice round so all the pictures are from Wednesday. After a full day at the Masters Southern Felt puts on a bbq at one of the salesman's house. We had dinner with Ted Andrews the owner of Southern Felt - a Brit. Thomas and Ted shared sailing stories - Ted sailed from Spain to the Caribbean last November in his 79 ft sailboat.
Thursday up and out early to the first round of the Masters. Yes, Tiger was there and also the plane carrying commentary. It is an incredibly organized event - even the bathrooms are directed! Sergio actually hit a ball 4 ft from us and asked us to be still (very politely) before he shot. On 17 Ryan Moore hit a spectacular shot in front of us. I said "great shot, Ryan" and got a tip of the hat when he looked at me. The one thing you take away about the players is that they are all pretty trim...after southern dining I probably won't make the tour :)
It was a great trip. A great way to mix work and pleasure. Thank you Southern Felt.

Happy Birthday Thomas....Thomas is spending his birthday headed to the Masters golf tournament with his Dad and little sister. The rest of us wait to hear their stories. This falls under the category of "work". Thank you Southern Felt.
