Gluttony on display

After thoughtful reflection upon the Christmas season the question was which cookies make it Christmas to you? General consensus was definitely peanut butter blossoms. Barbara and I personally have grown to expect the cranberry bars. Thomas knows it is Christmas when the gingerbread dough is in the refrigerator and he sneaks eating it. Jamison brings his raisin tart tradition (no beans). I guess I will do extra laps around the reservoir with Jamie today cause I have tried them all and it was Merry Christmas!!!

Biking Gramma

Gramma is set for a pedaling now! We will find out how good she really is at Tetris...when you pedal you can play games.

Disneyland- January 3-5. Jamison has a track conference at the Disneyland hotel so we are going to go and have a good time if anyone else wants to come and meet us down there.

We are coming back on Saturday though.

I saw a very disturbing documentary today on a new form of spousal abuse, commonly referred to as Wiibeatings. Please watch this clip to see the extent of physical and emotional abuse that can be caused by loved ones. I didn't think it would hit home as much as it did.

A day in San Francisco

We decided to do a run into the city and check out the Christmas windows. It was spectacular day - the storm had scrubbed the skies to a crystal blue. It was crisp and clear and great for walking the hills.



The prize winning display was at the Hyatt Embarcadaro where a private collection of Christmas village houses had been set up. There were over 3000 pieces. Merry -go-rounds, ski lifts, Starbucks, and every type of house you could think of was circled around the circular statue. A very fun day and recommended to all. Lunch at Tadich Grill for a little dungess crab salads. The crab is coming in now and is so sweet.... very little oil :)

We got our tree up and decorated!!! Yeah - can't you just smell the scent of Christmas. Thomas stopped by, not just to pose in front of the tree but to get his suit. Thomas is headed off to pick up Molly and go to the GOOGLE Christmas Party!! Can't wait to hear how that goes - I am betting that U2 is playing. Thomas thinks maybe the Rolling Stones! I will fill you all in later when I get the scoop.
Tom & Rhonda, hope you didn't have to pull out the ark! We had rain all day yesterday and then a spectacularly clear day today. One of the days that you want to stop when you come out of the tunnel and just look! I talked to a man in Billings, Montana today he said it was suppose to drop to 9 degrees tonight - I had to tell him it was warm here at 50 degrees.

Hellooo from So Cal

Greetings from Tom Rhonda Haley and Keaton. We have our tree up and the house has lights on it. However, we still have shopping to do. We have lots of Schneiders on our list, including Tom, Trish, and Thomas. You guys have to come down with Jenn when she goes to D-Land to collect your gifts. 

Jenn,  Haley and Keaton are always up for a trip to the happiest place on earth. Give us the date, we will all go.

Well, I have to get going, I'm building an Ark, we are supposed to get 3-4 inches of rain tonight. This should be interesting. We are going to Mammoth Mtn for New Years, so at least the kids we see snow for the first time.

Road Warriors

I just wanted to thank you road warriors that made it to all the Cal Home Games. I 5 is a lonely stretch in the dark but you never failed. 5:30 came awfully early when you had to be at work after cheering on the Bears. The times you had to pull over coming from SLO cause the rain was pouring in buckets but you charged onward. The nights coaching your own football team and then jumping in a car to speed on 3 hours to get to Bear territory. Your dedication as fans was not lost on us parents. All we could ever hope for is that you all would have each others backs and this crew showed their true colors. Love to you all. Heres to you road warriors your efforts were greatly appreciated!

Ok, so after everyone has been added as "authors" I gave them the administration level which allows you to do everything that PEREZHHILTON does haha. So instead of writing comments (which are always welcome) you can go to new post (should be in the upper corner next to your name and then you can post it straight on. Mom, you need to make a photobucket account or maybe shutterfly works to. You need the picture(s) you are trying to post's HTML code (which should be given to you after you have downloaded it to the internet). Photobucket does a great job making it easy (dont really know about shutterfly). You can also go to youtube and copy and paste the embed code on the left like so..... this is actually pretty funny. Good luck!! I know you can do it mom!! Thomas, I know you have a slew of videos so let em rip!!!

Oh ya and everyone can write there own blogs on here because... we are all authors!

Family Blog

So i think we should have a family blog where we can post pictures and stuff like that. So maybe, Jen can eventually send us pictures and we can have it archived for LIFE haha maybe not that far but this will be a much easier way to find pictures than looking through old mail (I guess you could just download them all, but thats neither here nor there) and we can comment on them!! And Thomas can post his videos. We can make it private too. So let me know what you think!!
