Sunday, Bloody Sunday!

Had a lovely relaxing Sunday... Red Sox game tonight, pulled pork for dinner on it's way, don't be jealous- just come visit!

Bloody Mary Base:
5 ounces Worchestershire sauce
1 ounce Zinfandel
3 ounces olive juice
1 lemon, juiced
1 lime, juiced
1 Tablespoon Cajun Spice (you get to make your own!)
1 Tablespoon horseradish
8 dashes Tobasco
1 Tablespoon fresh ground pepper

Cajun Spice:
2-1/2 Tablespoons paprika
2 Tablespoons garlic powder
2 Tablespoons kosher salt (I recommend 1/4 Tablespoon)
1 Tablespoon black pepper
1 Tablespoon onion powder
1 Tablespoon cayenne or chili powder
1 Tablespoon dried oregano
1 Tablespoon dried thyme
1 Tablespoon celery salt
1/2 Tablespoon smoked paprika (I didn't have any so used 1/4 Tbl chipotle chili powder)

Preparation:
Start with pint glass, salt rim, fill with ice
Pour 2 ounces Bloody Mary Base
Pour 2 ounces Absolut Peppar and 2 ounces Absolut Citron
Fill to top with tomato juice (approx 4 oz)
Garnish with vegetable skewer (olives, celery, cherry tomato, bell pepper) and celery stalk

Beach bums

Creed's company had a box for an Angels game a few weeks ago so we decided to make the road trip down and stayed with Tom & Rhonda. We had so much fun once we finally got there. We made the mistake of not leaving early enough so the drive took us just over 7 hours! Thank goodness the boys did awesome!
When we did finally get there Wyatt was lucky enough to go to tepanyaki for Keaton's birthday while Cody spent a little time with their lovely neighbors and we quickly got ready and headed to the game. It was cool to see the Yankees play the Angels but my favorite part of the whole weekend was just getting to hang with the Smiths 😊
Wyatt loved learning how to "surf" aka boogie boarding and he still talks about being at Papa Tom and Rhonda's house. He also got to hunt pirates and ride a cool scooter!
Thanks for letting us crash! We will definitely be back!
