Saturday night excitment

The secret ingredient of the night was... wait for it... CHEESE! Selected by a neutral party, Matt Frye of the east coast.

Each of use decided on two dishes, a salad and mac and cheese. The winner is not very clear because all the dishes were fantastic!

This is Freddie and I have to say, I enjoy football just as much as the next but I was a little pre-occuppied this evening because we came down to hang out with Lily (Jenn & Jamo's dog) Man she is one hot big ball of blonde fur! I tried to tempt her into the pool but she wouldn't fall prey to my games so I had to splash around by myself. The pot roast idea sounds really goood, know anyone who delivers at this time of night?
I am off in search of some dead animals so I will have to catch you later!

Wanna chat

It's Friday night and I'm waiting for someone to chat with. Are there any four legged friends out there? My family is glued to the TV watching football. I could care less about Baylor and UCONN. Does anyone have any good pot roast recipes. Bear, have you been able to dig out? Freddie you look great in the Shaver video. I know i may be a little gray, but i like to roll on dead worms too. I heard you like dead animals. Well have a great weekend everyone.

Game Day in Alabama

It may not draw as many as Cal but UNA goes all out on game day. Tailgates, real Lions, Cheerleaders that do stunts, the band, majorettes, flag girls and more. A fun event for everyone. We just love their kicker too.

Arm update

I have to say that I am shocked and amazed how well and how fast my broken arm is doing! I am out of a sling and all I have is a little velcro brace, which now makes people think I have carpal tunnel and forget it was broken- still hurts people when I get bumped!

So here are pics of my new scar and some of the bruising. I am typing this gingerly with two hands and I can even hold an empty beer bottle for almost 3 seconds! Progress is being made :)

My neighbor the surgeon gave me the goal of holding a drink by the weekend but then he remembered that we are all going to a party together and would need a sober driver so he changed his story to "don't mix alcohol with pain killers". Lucky for him I don't drink anyways!
