Happenings in the Creek

Your average week here at the Schneider's Creekside. A lovelorn bird spends his entire day at the window tapping away. Poor little bird.
Bear had an accident. We went for a long walk and during one of our running sections she took off. Literally. Got away and made a big loop at 90 mph and as she came out of the turn she caught a toe nail on a cement block hidden in the grass. She went one way the toe went the other shattering the little bone in her paw. Bear is now casted for one month. Drugs for the dog and drugs for us....hope we all make it.
There is also a new brewery that has opened in our kitchen. Join us for a Honey Ale. The house smells great right now.
Hope you are all off to a great start this week. Let us know we will be sitting here with the dog so she doesn't jump.

Barb is very confused, Pink collar and a blue cast. She wants to know why she did not get a pink cast.
Trish just remeber the doggy downers are for Bear only. In the picture it looks like Bear is smiling are is that just the drugs talking. Never a dull moment.

tell Barb they did not even offer a choice on colors. The cast did have a heart on it till Bear got that off. I will spend a month just trying to keep her from chewing it off.

Poor puppy and poor parents. Good luck keeping that dog calm for a month:)

Sounds like you have more of a clutzy dog than I had horse!

Them be some long toenails! Don´t take the bird for a walk, hers need a bit of a manicure too!
Thoughts out to the casted cutey.
Beer men look serious about their brew. Yum flavor, who´s choice?

Oh No! Poor Bear and poor you! She must have been breaking some speed records! Too bad we don't live closer to trade off watching the dogs. Roxy has to be watched 24/7 to make sure she doesn't eat grass! She spent another couple of days on laxatives at the vet trying to get the rest of the bird out and the mound of grass she ate while we were not looking. Ughhhh Hang in there! Give Bear a hug from us.
