Rio Del Mar 2010

Another successful beach trip to remember.
Although Tom just had his appendix out he was able to recover enough for the trip to happen! Tuesday we arrived and started the set up. Jessica and Wyatt were able to join us on Tuesday so we were able to spend a few days rocking the grandson!
Thursday night the crowds rolled in - Jenn & Jamison & Creed, Thomas & Molly, Jamie & Shawn! The weather was spectacular for the beach 75 - 85 degrees everyday.
The annual Pras Classic went on with Tom doing the marshaling. Randy and Joe Davis were able to participate this year. In fact along with Thomas they were able to walk away the winners.
The ladies got a lot of beach time!!! We were also joined this year by whales! The bay had an abundance of krill this year and humpbacks and blue whales have come in for feasting. We stood on the beach and just watched them maybe 50 yards off the shore. So cool!
Saturday night we had a wine pairings event (more to follow). That was tasty and fun.
Grammy Smith stayed with Karen Brown and her parents and was able to get some Wyatt time too! So great to see Great Grandma out!
Sunday was NFL for all. Molly & Thomas had to head home for more study time. Molly was so impressive studying on the beach...we are all behind you Molly!!
Jessica, Creed and Wyatt stayed through Monday for a little quite time. Tuesday we packed up and the party was over. Lots of memories. Until next year - same time, new house - 379 Beach. Love you all.

What a relaxing time. You are truly blessed to be able to share these weekends that you do all together, most families can't quite put it together like this! Great pictures too.

Great time and great pictures! Trish, those sunset shots are "framers." Molly is adjusting to life at Hastings much better than I did... I also have no doubt that she will do much better too!
