We have a special guest this weekend and we are having fun. Yes Grammy Smith is in So Cal. We went to the beach today and tonight we have reservations at Javier's in Newport Beach. YUM!! Kathy Smith is going to join us for dinner. Tomorrow we are going to go on a boat cruise in the Newport Beach harbor.
Haley and Rhonda went to see Taylor Swift last night. Haley said it was the best concert ever!
Cadi went to Jonas Brothers in Santiago...Josie scored two goals in her soccer match and went on her first date to the movies...Kelsey played Tibia all weekend and is now eating avocado tomato hotdogs at his best friends...Tatum had a sleepover farewell party for a classmate last night and is now playing barbies...Mike worked...Liz drove everybody around, did lots of laundry and made fish tacos.
Really kind of a quite weekend...a couple hikes with the dog, lafayette rim,borges ranch. We went to a bbq at a friends house. Puttered in our backyard pulling weeds. Thomas gone to San Francisco with Molly. Jamie went with Sean to meet more of his family and then to Monterey to see her friend Riann who is back from Chicago for the holiday... we are just empty nesting again.
Us Lemorons had a farewell party for more Navy friends who are moving out of the area on Friday night- good food, fun and friends and we extended it on to the next morning and had a pancake breakfast with everyone again before Lisa and Heath drove off to Texas. Saturday was a day of recovery, Sunday was a day of yard work, outlet shopping and Star Trek (wicked good) and on Monday we went with our soon to be moving neighbor John and friend Kat to a lake in the Sequoia National park called Weaver Lake... 8,700 feet elevation, beautiful with snow still on the ground but melting and making great waterfalls. Lily had fun running and rolling in the snow for the first time and cashing ground squirrels (Lily is our dog for those who don't know) and now back to the daily grind of work :(
Let's see, Creed was and is still working hard on the Hooker's cherry ranch while I spent saturday at Redinger Lake with Carli and some other of Creed's friends and then I spent Sunday on Shaver lake with Creed's family and then we BBQ'd at Tim & Ruth's so Creed could meet up with us. Monday was a day spent squashing bugs, weeding and cleaning (such a bummer compared to the previous two days!)
