Wiffle Ball Tournament 2011

Saturday morning at 10:30 the annual Cragmont Wiffle Ball Tournament kicked off. What looked like would be a chilly morning in the hills turned into a beautiful spring day. There were 20 participants and 5 spectators (soon to be corn toss players). The question of the day became whether there would have to be a new rule to slow down pitches as the Davis team blurred the ball past everyone, when they weren't hitting the batter or bystanders behind the strike zone. Shawn came with a strong showing of World Champion Giants fans in full jerseys. Dogs and monster cookies (Creed where were you?) rounded out the food bill. Jamie realizing no one brought the corn toss, willingly drove with Jamie #2 back to W.C. to bring the game (next year Dad don't forget!). The Davis team took home the grand prize. Jack got what he wanted also...next year the "the Jack rule"! the ball must be visible crossing home plate!!!
