Christmas Day brought around the annual gingerbread house competition and it lived up to all the hype. A few participants were at a disadvantage - Jessica was busy with Mr. Wyatt who thought napping was overrated so she had to leave early. Jamie after producing a watermelon size cyst was busy reclining which left Shawn to create on his own. No one disappointed. Molly & Tom again came with a theme - the abominable snowman and Dennis the dentist from Rudolph. Jenn & Jamo came prepared though with the Wizard of Oz theme. There is always the question of who has built the most structurelly sound house. This year we had special guest judges: Molly's Mom - Karen, her sister Sarah and Karen's sister. After a fairly long huddle the judges chose Jenn and Jamo's Wizard of Oz! Prizes including a 1900 indian head penny and the satisfaction of knowing they are Gingerbread Champions 2010.

Jamie glad to hear you are doing well. I don't know about the rest of your fam though... using pre-fab gingerbread houses. Those walls look a little to perfect to be homemade. O'Dell/Holmes professional homemade house pics coming soon.
