Bay Area Adventures

The fun part of having the grandsons is remembering how much there is to do with kids here in the bay area. Jessica suggested that we head to the hills. The Berkeley hills and Lawrence Hall of Science. What a fun trip. They have definitely upped the wow factor of the museum since we last attended. The featured exhibit was bugs. Not just little bugs but bugs x 10. In fact so big they were a little scary for some of us. There are so many cool features there now. Out back there is the earthquake exhibit - with spectacular views of the bay. Inside there are games and hands on stuff. The nice thing about the museum is what Jessica remembers and that is the whale outside. Yes, the whale is still outside. Climbing upon the whale is a treat Jessica (and siblings) got to do and now her babies get to climb the whale. Tradition.
