Looking forward to Thanksgiving! Lets hear about everyone's Thanksgiving adventures... Lets not let the family blog fade away! Facebook isn't the same.
The family is all trying to get over the same bug and then we driving up to Sac first thing Thursday morning, hopefully enough time to rest and kick this sickness. When we do get up north, we want to come by and see the Sacramento Schneiders ;-) ???
I hope you guys are feeling better soon! I think a few of my friends are fighting the same thing here so we are locking ourselves away! lol We are having the Youngs all over to our house then up to the Bay! I hope the blog doesn't die down either! I was thinking about it last night and how there hasn't been too much action! :(
Love the blog, wish I did more posts, will try. As you know your history, Chile doesn't celebrate the north american indian and pilgram eating fest, but this year, the Schneiders in Chile will. We have only done a few over the years...but on Saturday, cause Thursday is just like any other day here, we have 24 coming, mostly Americans, a Brit family or two for good measure (they were British people that first Thanksgiving so these friends have their place!), and going for it with ALL our family favorites. Cooking together like sisters would, eating to our heart's delight like brothers would, washing it all down with only the best Chilean wine to cleanse the palates, this will go all night long = Chilean style. Europe?! That should be a blast!! Glad to hear the Chileans are going to have such a fest!! Should be a great time!! We are thankful for such a wonderful family as well!!
Diana, Linda, Laura, Cadi and I will be hanging out in Palm Desert hopefully enjoying some sunshine with our bird. As Scott mentioned the Holmes are headed to Sacto and Steve & Karla are Denver bound. Hopefully that means we are all together next year!!! We need to plan for next year now and it could be another crazy turkey day. Enjoy. All who are traveling be careful.
The So. Cal Smith's flew north to be with the family. We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at Tom & Trish'sand look forward to the arrival of Jessica, Creed & Wyatt later today. We are getting ready to go ice skating in the outdoor rink downtown Walnut Creek and then do a little shopping! A another fun day ahead!
